During this photo walk we will address the more advanced aspects of this photographic genre, examining the different types of street photography, and how to instil more creative dramatic energy into your images.
We will look at the best camera settings for street photography, lighting, ( including fill in flash), black & white, composition, and the various shooting styles and techniques required to obtain successful street photographs.
The tutor will give constant feedback on your images suggesting alternate approaches to improve and refine them.
This event is best suited for those with a good understanding of their camera and/or who have been on the two hour street photography event.
Natural Light Portraits

This meet-up will explore how we can take beautiful portraits using natural light and backgrounds. We will explore how to recognise flattering light and how to manipulate it whilst shooting in a less controlled environment than a studio. We will explore how we can work collaboratively with our subject to achieve a portrait that captures their personality and style. We will also look at posing and setting your subject at ease. Technical learning points will include accurate focusing and metering for skin tones.
Participants agree to allowing themselves to be photographed by others in the group.

It is not possible to capture great images without an awareness of light and how it produces amazing photographs. In this workshop we will work with natural daylight and reflectors to catch the best natural light. The session will focus on identifying different types of light outdoors, but more importantly how we are able to adapt and modify the existing light we have in any scene.
We will also be looking at how to use fill-in flash outdoors.
